My Local Authority client is looking to recruit a Qualified Finance Manager to join their growing team. The role will involve contributing towards the development and implementation of the financial strategy, fundamentally ensuring sustainability over the medium term as well as working closely with all stakeholders to ensure best use of limited financial resources, providing the strategic financial advice, insight, intelligence and support needed. You will also be required to continually review, update and report on financial risks and opportunities, advising how the risks can be mitigated and the opportunities.
The successful candidate will need to be a qualified CCAB accountant and also have experience in local authority or public sector finance. You will also have excellent business partnering skills and ideally capital business partnering experience. Team management experience is also required.
This is a permanent role with 2 to 3 days a week in the office. The salary range for the role is £62,000 to £70,000.
