Senior Accounts Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant to support the financial operations as our client expands into the UK market.

This exciting role is integral to the company's growth, offering financial analysis, reporting, and hands-on transactional support. The ideal candidate will be skilled in management accounting, financial budgeting and confident in using SAP. You will possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable with transactional tasks.

This role is to start in August and will be pivotal to the UK operations of this exciting chapter in the company's global operations. You maybe a Management Accountant or Finance Business Partner who enjoys being hands on, or you may be a seasoned Book Keeper who is looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to grow with an exciting business. Day to day of the role:

  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyse financial data to support business profitability and growth and prepare management reports for decision-making.
  • Transactional Tasks: Handle daily financial transactions, ensuring accurate and timely financial data recording. Reconciliations, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Expenses, raising invoices etc.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Work with management team to manage budgets and develop financial forecasts for strategic planning.
  • SAP Expertise: Manage financial data, reporting, and analysis using SAP, and address any SAP-related issues.
  • Communication: Communicate with internal stakeholders and present financial insights and recommendations effectively.
  • Authorisation: Experience in liaising with external parties and doing final checks and sign off.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Professional Qualification: Qualified or part-qualified accountant (AAT level 4 or higher, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Experience: Proven experience in management accounting or similar roles.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP or similar financial software, and strong Excel skills for data analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with external parties and the ability to work independently.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to financial data and accuracy.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility and willingness to be hands-on happy to adapt to tasks as the company grows in the UK.
