Management Accountant Interim - Leicester 6mnths
We are working with a great SME client who are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to support their friendly finance team.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in month-end and management reporting, including journal preparation and processing, cash book posting, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Produce accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve all reconciling items.
- Manage the fixed asset register and associated finance leases.
- Collaborate with senior management on weekly forecasting, reporting, analysis, and commercial decision-making.
- Support in ad hoc forecasting as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong bookkeeping skills and fundamental knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping.
- Management Accounting experience
- Self-starter with quick learning ability and capacity to work independently.
- Preferable experience in Sage 200.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly
- Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, SUMIF, etc.).
