Estimator required for my client based in Maidenhead, who work within the sheet metal fabrication industry.
Their customers vary within the industry sectors of; electronics, medical, telecommunications, retail and vending.

Estimator Position Overview
- Read and understand customer's requirements via technical drawings and files to create and provide quotations.
- Coordination with the company's production and purchasing departments regarding manufacturing costs/processes and times required to achieve customer requirements.
- Liaising with customers to confirm details, expectations and ongoing progress of jobs in manufacture with the company.
- Troubleshooting and manufacturing support.
- Occasional face-to-face meetings with customers and suppliers when required.
Estimator Position Requirements
- Good verbal/written communication skills.
- Have a level of technical understanding, ideally within sheet metal or other engineering-related industries.
- Ability to discuss technical and aesthetic requirements with companies' customers.
- Be highly organised and able to respond in a timely and effective manner.
- Outgoing and friendly, both in person and on the phone.
- Based within a commutable distance of Maidenhead - as it is a office based position.
- Full UK driving licence is preferable.
Estimator Position Remuneration
- Salary - £26,000 to £35,000 - dependent upon skill, qualifications and experience.
- Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. Office based.
- 21 days holiday package + the 8 bank holidays on top.
