My client is a well-established specialist in the overhaul and dismantle of motors, pumps and gearboxes. Due to ongoing success, they are looking to recruit a Sales Engineer to be based out of their site in East London. The successful candidate will either have a background in engineering, and looking for a career in sales. Or, an established Sales Engineer looking for a new challenge. You must be based around the London area and have a UK Driving Licence.
**Sales Engineer
Position Overview
- Attending customer sites throughout London and the South East
- Investigating issues with electric motors, pumps and fans and other apparatus across a wide variety of industries
- Meeting with customers and advising on engineering solutions
- Producing quotations for repairs and discussing these with customers
- Gaining a technical understanding of the full range company products
- Keeping in regular contact with customers and establishing business relationships
- Building a network of contacts through trade shows and social media
**Sales Engineer
Position Requirements
- A technical background in mechanical or electrical engineering. There is no specific product knowledge required as the company can assist with this. However, knowledge of motors, pumps, and fans is desirable
- Ambitious and outgoing personality
- Happy to travel to sites throughout London and the South East
- UK Driving Licence
**Sales Engineer
Position Remuneration
- Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
- Company car and credit card
- BUPA after 1 years' service
- Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00
- 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
