Management Accountant – Worksop – £35,000 - £40,500 + Study Support

Management Accountant Responsibilities:
- Complete monthly management accounts for multiple contracts
- Produce accurate and detailed P&L's, variance reporting and MI pack for each contract
- Review revenue & costs
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Ownership of budgets & rolling forecasts
- Preparing month end trading packs
- Work closely with the Operational Managers to drive the monthly forecasting process and efficiencies for their contract to drive performance
- Work to drive efficiencies and Profit Improvement Plans
- Prepare various ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests
- Ensure the necessary contract controls are in place to provide accurate accounting for the contract
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong IT literacy including Excel
- Very strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with non-finance operational staff and able to work with clear responses
- Actively studying ACCA, CIMA or ACA
- Sound experience in the preparation of Management Accounts to tight deadlines
- Drive, passion and enthusiasm to do a good job
