Projects Coordinator

The Projects Coordinator will provide support to the Project Managers for the delivery of a diverse range of projects to time, cost and quality, meeting the requirements of the business, and ensuring suitable governance and auditability.

Description

The successful Projects Coordinator will be responsible for areas including, but not limited to:

  • Supporting the delivery of multiple larger projects, occasionally managing smaller projects
  • Supporting the development of project plans, monitoring progress to ensure the timely delivery of key milestones and deliverables. This includes the management of risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies, in addition to the proactive management of action plans
  • Reporting project progress against baseline to stakeholders
  • Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with all stakeholders to ensure they remain engaged and informed throughout the project
  • Supporting the development and management of stakeholder and communication plans
  • Driving collaboration across the business to ensure project deliverables meet the business need and deliver value
  • Ensuring project governance and associated documentation is kept current and is driving the project delivery to success

Profile

The successful Projects Coordinator will be able to demonstrate competencies including, but not limited to:

  • Proven experience in a Project Coordination / Assistant Project Management role
  • Proven experience of working in a Professional Services and/or Consulting environment
  • Experience of delivering against multiple concurrent projects
  • Experience working with Microsoft Project is desirable

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree, HND or equivalent
  • Project Management Qualification (e.g. APM, Prince2, PMI, etc) is desirable but not essential

Job Offer

As part of working with our client, the successful Projects Coordinator will receive the following:
