Working for this unique energy producing company as Group Financial Controller, you'll take responsibility for a variety of finance functions across a complex group of companies. You'll have 2 direct reports and lead both an accounting and a controlling team, taking financial leadership of an £80m turnover group.

The Role
You'll lead an accounting team tasked with financial accounting and reporting, liaising with tax authorities, managing audits, cash flow forecasting, treasury, bank and facility agreement management and overseeing accounts payable and receivable functions. You'll also lead a controlling team focused on financial planning and analysis, economic evaluations including M&A, investor reporting, management accounting, and strategic business partnering.
You'll deliver monthly management accounts, develop new financial systems and optimise departmental performance ensuring any weaknesses are identified. A strong audit background will also be required. The role would be a good step up for a Financial Controller or Head of Finance working within an SME. You'll gain experience in acquisitions and undertaking due diligence work on these acquisitions as well as commercial contract analysis.
Possessing any of ACA / ACCA / CIMA and multi entity / group experience is essential to be considered for this role.
