Office Manager

BA Group is the UK's leading provider of workforce feeding and facilities management provisions to major construction and infrastructure projects across the UK. We are looking for an experienced, highly organized, Office Manager for a small family-run head office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day office operations.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment inventory.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings.
  • Manage office budgets and expenses.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
  • Implement and maintain office policies and procedures.
  • Provide timely reminders to directors to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Work with multiple teams including operations, marketing, finance, and site teams to fulfill a variety of tasks.
  • Liaise with site managers to ensure they have the supplies and support needed for their operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role is essential.
  • Proficiency in using QuickBooks for financial management tasks.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of human resources practices and procedures.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.
  • Personable team member who can assist in the organization of all admin and office duties.

Working Conditions:

  • Based in a small, family-run head office in Marylebone.
  • On-site 5 days per week.
  • Office hours: 9:30-17:30 or 10:00-18:00
  • You will be working alone, handling various administrative duties.
  • A fast-paced, busy environment where priorities can shift quickly.
  • Directors require regular reminders to ensure timely decision-making and action.
  • Holiday allowance: 20 + bank holidays Increasing after 2 years of service
