- Oversee and manage financial audit processes
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with teams to identify and manage risks
- Deliver high-quality reports and presentations for senior management
- Lead and mentor junior members of the team
- Contribute to the development of audit methodologies and procedures
- Support business development activities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
Profile
A successful Audit Assistant Manager should have:
- A relevant degree or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance - ACCA/ACA
- Proven experience in a similar role within a UK Practice
- Strong knowledge of audit procedures and regulations
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
