Our client are a well-established growing law firm who are seeking a HR Advisor based in Milton Keynes on a full-time permanent basis. They have several offices and teams catering to different law specialties from family law to wills and probates and more.
Responsibilities of the HR Advisor
- Process payroll for an external provider and coordinate monthly payroll activities and reporting.
- Assist HR Manager.
- Prepare internal and external correspondence, recruitment, contractual and payroll documentation.
- Prepare HR update for monthly newsletter.
- Coordinate and implement meetings including disciplinary, grievance and redundancy meetings.
- Reporting on payroll, headcount, DE&I, absences and costs.
- Coordinate recruitment and work experience programmes.
Requirements for a successful HR Advisor
- CIPD qualified with minimum 3 years Generalist HR experience.
- Experience within Employee Relations, Recruitment and Payroll.
- Able to process payroll for an external provider and coordinate monthly payroll activities.
- Strong working knowledge of HR Laws and Procedures.
- Able and willingness to travel to other sites including London.

Summary of the HR Advisor role
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000
Location: Milton Keynes
Type of Contract: Maternity Contract till October 2025
Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm
