Key Account Executive - Coffee & Beverage Equipment to Retail

Location: Nationwide with travel across the UK. Ideal locations include cities near major motorway networks such as Bristol, London, Reading, Birmingham, Stoke, Derby, Nottingham, Northampton, Leicester, Sheffield, Liverpool, Leeds, and Manchester.

Salary: Basic £35,000 to £40,000 DOE, Uncapped OTE + 3% Annual Bonus, car or car allowance, and excellent benefits.

The Company

This is an exciting business development and sales role! Our client is a renowned multinational manufacturer of coffee machines and beverage equipment, serving the foodservice sector across more than 100 countries. With a well-established presence in the UK, their products are essential in a wide range of outlets including QSRs, cafes, pubs, restaurants, and hotels. Due to exceptional sales growth in 2023, they are looking to add an experienced Key Account Executive to their commercial team, focusing on retail partnerships.

The Role

As a Key Account Executive, your primary focus will be on maintaining and growing key sales relationships with a major UK food retailer. The role involves:

  • Account Management: Nurture existing relationships with a well-established retail client.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth.
  • Product Introduction: Regularly present new coffee and beverage equipment to retail customers, ensuring they stay updated on the latest innovations.
  • Client Engagement: Maintain close relationships with retail clients, working to increase sales and brand presence within their stores.
  • Travel: The role involves nationwide travel to meet with clients and support business development.

The Person

We are seeking a driven sales professional with:

  • Relevant Experience: A background in sales to the retail or foodservice sectors, ideally within coffee machines, beverage equipment, or similar non-food products.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience working for a foodservice manufacturer, either in food or non-food categories such as catering equipment or coffee/beverage machinery.
  • Relationship Management: A relationship-driven approach to sales and account management, with a focus on building long-term partnerships.
  • Passion for Sales: A strong passion for business development and driving results in the retail market.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel across the UK to engage with clients and attend meetings.
  • Strong IT Skills: Proficiency in using technology to manage accounts and track sales performance.
