Our Client, a growing packaging company based in Tameside now has an excellent opportunity for a Customer Service Administrator to join their friendly team.

As a Customer Service Executive, you will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting them with inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about products or services. You will be responsible for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.

Key to this role is the link between sales and the warehouse and smooth communication and collaboration between these two functions are critical for the overall success of the business.

You will be an outstanding communicator and listener with the professional, but friendly approach.

Responsibilities

  • Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Resolving customer complaints and issues in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Providing information about products service, and company policies.
  • Processing orders, forms, applications and requests.
  • Keeping records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Communicating and coordinating with internal departments to resolve customer issues.
  • Identifying and escalating priority issues.
  • Handling customer complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternative within the time limits.
  • Following communication procedure, guidelines, and policies
  • Going the extra mile to engage customers.
  • Discussing products and services, assisting customers in selecting those that are best suited for them.
  • Presenting and following up quotations

Requirements

  • Proven customer support experience.
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Making outbound calls to generate sales from lapsed and new potential customers.
  • Promoting, selling and obtaining orders from prospective customers over the phone.
  • Discussing products and services, assisting customers in selecting those that are best suited for them.
  • Presenting and following up quotations
  • Documenting customer information and utilizing information already collated.
  • Develop long term collaborative relationships with customers.
  • Provide potential and existing customers with the highest level of customer service.
  • Oversee sales process from start to finish, ensuring service quality and general transactional satisfaction.
  • If needed face to face meetings on and offsite.
  • Prepare and present achievements and KPI.
  • Previous sales in Packaging Industry would be beneficial.
  • Planning and organising skills.
  • Ability to prioritise own workload.
  • Keen interest in learning about Products.
