Receptionist - Part Time

Responsible for the smooth, effective and efficient delivery of reception service for People's Partnership and additional building tenants. Provision of administrative support for Facilities and associated operational teams to support the Directorate's business activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greeting and managing all incoming visitors & contractors to the building in a polite and professional manner.
  • Ensuring that all visitors and contractors are signed in and issued with appropriate passes/keys.
  • Ensuring that the reception area is clean, tidy and that health & safety/control of risk are a key priority.
  • Reporting any building Head of Workplace and Facilities team.
  • Ensuring that the reception process folder is regularly checked and updated.
  • Managing and executing Facilities and Reception related service desk/visitor requests.
  • Setting up and printing new staff/visitor/contractor passes as required and ensuring the access control system is working effectively.

Skill/ Experience

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent as a minimum.
  • Previous reception/front-of-house & customer service experience, ideally within a corporate environment.
  • Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work additional shifts and cover at short notice.
  • Ability to multi-task.

Additional Info:

  • 6 months Fixed Term Contract
  • Part time (1pm to 6pm) with the flexibility to cover holidays/sickness
  • Monday to Friday
  • £23k FTE
