Orka Financial is recruiting for a Junior Accountant to join a well establish business based in High Wycombe and is fully office based. The role reports into the Finance Manager and comes with study support.
The Junior Accountant position would suit a candidate who has previous experience supporting a team within a broad finance role and is looking to further their career, great opportunity to be part of a growing business.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage all bank reconciliations
- Monthly payroll and benefits processes.
- Manage the fixed assets
- Prepare & post journal
- Prepare and post journal entries at month end in line with reporting deadlines & reconcile associated balance sheet accounts
- To prepare and report UK VAT & Intrastat submissions in line with HMRC requirements
- Manage the inter company process
- Assist the Accounts Payable function
- Support Finance Team members with preparation, reviews and reporting of Annual Plan
Key skills:
- Awareness of financial reporting and compliance
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills
- Strong time management and experience of multi- tasking
- A high standard of computer literacy and intermediate Excel skills are essential.
Salary £28,000 - £32,000 + study support + further benefits and onsite parking.
