It is currently seeking an experienced IP Associate with 3-5 years' PQE to join the dynamic team and play a key role in the branding and advertising practice.

Responsibilities:
- Providing guidance on commercial IP matters for content, including production, exploitation, and distribution across platforms (online and linear); Drafting related agreements, such as podcast, content licensing, production, media buying, and creative agreements
- Handling brand-related matters, including advising on brand strategy, protection, licensing, and co-branded joint ventures; Drafting associated applications and agreements, such as intellectual property assignments, licenses, and joint venture agreements.
- Advising on sponsorship arrangements, including without limitation celebrity endorsements and social media and influencer marketing arrangements with talent, and drafting related agreements
- Providing talent advisory services, advising on business dealings, ventures, image rights, licensing, income arrangements, and service level agreements with third parties and personal service companies
- Brand enforcement and prosecution work, including drafting cease and desist letters in relation to IP infringements (namely in respect of copyright, designs, trade mark infringement and passing-off) and working closely with both our trade mark department and the firm's litigation department in relation to settlement and/or matters that progress to UK and EU IPO registry tribunals and/or courts
- Domain names disputes; including advising on the same and dealing with related proceedings and/or settlement
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of post-qualification experience
- Strong academic background with a JD or equivalent degree
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A commitment to delivering exceptional client service and building long-lasting relationships
