Air Quality Assessor
My client is a renowned multinational company that specialises in applied safety science. With a presence in over 100 countries, they provide a wide range of services including testing, inspection, and certification. Additionally, they offer expert advice and practical solutions to help clients address any safety defects or concerns.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Air Quality, Environmental Science, Atmospheric Chemistry, or a related field is required.
- Membership or eligibility for membership with the Institute of Air Quality Management (IAQM) or a related professional organization.
- Possession of a valid driving licence for conducting site visits and field work.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication is essential, with the ability to effectively present technical information to diverse audiences.
- Strong time management and organisational skills are required, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial site assessments and stakeholder consultations to evaluate potential environmental impacts.
- Contribute to the development of proposals for air quality management and monitoring projects.
- Prepare comprehensive air quality reports to support environmental permitting and planning applications.
- Provide mentorship and on-site supervision for junior employees as necessary.
- Utilise dispersion modelling software to conduct air quality assessments and impact analyses.
