Job Title: Stores Person
Location: Birmingham City Hospital
Standard Rate: £12.11 (Nigh- shift rate increase is applicable)
Duration: Temporary role, with the opportunity to be long term
Typical hours: Monday to Friday: 06:00 - 18:00 or 18:00 - 06:00
SkyBlue is seeking a Stores Person to join Birmingham City Hospital. Your main role will be ensuring the efficient handling of storage and delivery of essential healthcare supplies.
You will play a key role in receiving deliveries, processing orders, stock rotation, and ensuring items are stored correctly and safely. This position involves working closely with various departments and external suppliers to meet the needs of the hospital.
Key duties of Stores Person include:
- Process orders and manage deliveries.
- Store stock safely and monitor usage.
- Rotate stock to ensure older items are used first.
- Deliver goods to wards and departments.
- Conduct regular stock checks and audits.
Successful Stores Person will have the following:
- Experience in stores, distribution, or warehousing (retail experience also applicable).
- Physically fit for lifting and moving items.
- Good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
The Successful applicant may be required to undergo security checks.
