These children are new to school and require one-to-one support to thrive in their educational journey.
About the Role:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in:
- Providing personalised one-to-one support for EYFS children with SEND.
- Assisting non-verbal children with communication through alternative methods.
- Offering personal care support, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene.
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and specialists to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).

Requirements:
- Experience working with young children, ideally within an educational or care setting.
- Knowledge and understanding of SEND, particularly in early childhood.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide personal care with dignity and respect.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
