Business Administrator

Location - Herne Bay

Salary - up to £13.50 per hour DOE

Hours - 10 am - 2 pm Monday to Friday

We have an incredible opportunity to work for an innovative IT and Telecommunications managed service provider based in East Kent, who specialise in serving small to medium-sized businesses as well as health and education providers.

They are committed to continuous improvement, offering ongoing training for all team members to stay ahead in the fast-paced tech industry.

Responsibilities for the role of Business Administrator

  • Assist directors with daily business operations and customer communication, ensuring updates and constant contact
  • Support marketing efforts and manage appointments, including diary entries and client confirmations
  • Handle vehicle fleet administration, assist with accounts, and update the training matrix to ensure certifications are current
  • Provide personnel support, manage third-party interactions, and take calls when the helpdesk is busy
  • Organise company social events and handle additional tasks as needed

Personal Specification for the Role of Business Administrator

  • Must have prior experience in a similar role
  • Must be able to work onsite full-time, hybrid option not available
  • Strong, confident demeanour with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in MS Office and email systems, with the ability to support work functions
  • Skilled in task prioritisation and meeting deadlines
  • Subject to DBS and pre-employment checks
