Utility Client Manager

Role Overview

The Client Manager's role is as follows:

  • To act as a single point of contact to the property client and the Property Management team
  • To ensure client utility data is accurate
  • To attend meetings with clients and surveyors
  • To deliver automated reports on time to the client, the sustainability team and third party consultants
  • To visit Savills Property Management offices as required
  • To work collaboratively with the wider energy team

Key Responsibilities

  • • Checking with the client on a regular basis to seek feedback on the level of service.
  • Resolving any performance issues and assisting in the resolution of any escalations.
  • Work with the senior client manager to develop a robust energy strategy and continually come up with new ideas to improve both level of service , the depth of service and resulting fee income.
  • Monitor SLAs and KPIs that have been agreed with the Operations team and wider team for the delivery of each service – COTs, Procurement, Bill Validation, AMR roll out etc and ensure the VIP clients are prioritised.
  • Report any material breaches of KPI to senior client manager.
  • Monitor your clients' query tickets and proactively identify those tickets at the earliest possible stage to prevent the risk of the query becoming an escalation issue at a later stage if not dealt with.
  • Work with the Data and Insights team to design high quality energy reporting.
  • Prepare a schedule for delivering all client reports two weeks before each reporting deadline to ensure the reports are delivered ahead of schedule to a high quality.
  • Issue each report to your senior manager to ensure they meet the quality requirements for both client and sustainability consultant.
  • Ensure you have cover in place during time of absence to provide continuity of service.
  • Work with the senior manager to ensure that all data from various sources is as accurate as possible.
  • Work with the client manager to identify ways of upselling our services to the clients.
  • You will be expected to travel to various UK locations for meetings as and when required.

Team Overview The Energy team sits within the Savills Property Management (PM) Division and provides an energy bureau and procurement service to the Property Management client portfolio.
The Energy team work closely alongside Savills Property Management's ESG and Sustainability teams to develop a client focussed Energy and Utility service.The team now comprises circa 70 people, the majority of whom are based in Cardiff. The team is split into 4 smaller teams - Client Management, Operations, ( Bill Validation, Debt, COTs,Query Management) Procurement and Data support including Tenant Recharges ) with the Client Managers based around the UK in Manchester, Birmingham, London and Cardiff.Find out more about Savills offer
