Group Head of Financial Reporting / Liverpool (Hybrid working) / Salary circa £90,000 plus a range of other great company benefits.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Group Head of Financial Reporting and Compliance to join our clients established Finance team in Liverpool.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for the production of group wide financial accounting services including group and subsidiary statutory accounts, asset accounting, taxation and regulatory returns.
- You will support, manage and oversee an established finance team.
- Supporting with the preparation of statutory accounts for the group, consolidation of group entities and main point of contact with external auditors, pension providers, regulators and HMRC.
- Implement effective finance controls ensuring the integrity of accounts.
- Lead on the development of external financial reporting for investors and stakeholders.
- Lead on the development of group tax strategy ensuring the group complies with its obligations. Ensure processes are in place for the accounting, calculation and submission of tax returns VAT, CIS and Corporation Tax.
- Work alongside the Head of Finance to support with group wide system improvements and procedures.
Key skills:
- Fully Qualified
- Strong track record of success in a senior financial management role
- Experienced with the production of statutory accounts including financial reporting standards and an understanding of Taxation requirements.
- Experienced presenting complex information and reports to Boards and senior management.
