A stand-alone HR Manager position has arisen to join a company based in the Tipton area. An office-based role, you will be required on-site Monday - Friday on a full-time basis. Working in a stand-alone position where you will be responsible for a site of approximately 80-100 employees.
A new position which has been created due to growth, they are in the process of expanding and opening new sites across the UK, this is an exciting time to join the business and will give you an opportunity to make this role your own. You will be pivotal in the development of the department ensuring there is a robust HR function in place.
As a HR Manager you will be responsible for -
- Talent acquisition - writing job descriptions, arranging interviews and completing offers and contracts, conducting right to work checks, producing job offers and onboarding new starters
- Investigating and completing disciplinaries and grievances
- Arranging and assisting senior managers with performance and probationary reviews
- Reviewing and updating policies and procedures, ensuring HR policies and procedures are compliant with current UK regulations and laws
- Identifying and recommending improvements to internal operating procedures
- Monitoring of attendance, annual leave and highlight any areas of concern
- Training and development - update and support managers with compiling and presenting training documentation
Ideally for this HR Manager role, you will have -
- CIPD level 7 or equivalent (preferable)
- Team player with experience in a factory/manufacturing setting
- Good organisational skills and an eye for detail
- Prior experience working in a stand-alone role
- Excellent communication skills
On offer for this HR Manager position -
- Working hours of Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm with an early finish on Fridays
- Offering a salary of £40-50k dependant on experience
