Job Description:
The Interim Finance Business Partner will be instrumental in providing financial insight and analysis that supports strategic decision-making across the organisation. This role requires a proactive and analytical individual who can collaborate effectively with various departments to enhance financial performance and business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and guidance on budget management and cost reduction strategies.
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support business initiatives and strategic planning.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, perform variance analysis, and recommend actions to improve financial performance.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, budgets, and executive summaries.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate and timely financial information.
- Assist in the implementation of new financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide training and support to non-finance departments on budget management and cost control practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner, Financial Analyst, or similar role in a finance function.
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with an ability to distil complex financial information into clear, actionable insights. - Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
