We have a number of vacancies available for enthusiastic learning support assistants within the Essex area.

This Chelmsford school is seeking individuals who are empathetic, driven and most importantly, passionate about working with young people.

The role will entail working on a 1:1 or small group basis with children aged between 4-12 years old. You will be supporting them with the aim of improved engagement with their learning. You may be supporting children with Special Educational Needs/Disabilities (SEND) or Social Emotional Mental Health needs (SEMH).

Whilst experience of working in an education setting is beneficial, it is not essential. Prior candidates who were successful had backgrounds in; Youth work, care/hospital experience, Art/creative backgrounds and Psychology/sociology graduates.

  • Have a collaborative approach and be able to work closely with other staff and families

  • Be adaptable, proactive and positive
