Are you an Account Handler with experience of dealing with corporate level risks across a wide product range, seeking a new opportunity in Manchester? If so, we have this brilliant opportunity available working for a highly respected brokerage.

Our client has a fantastic city centre office base and this role will be split with a mixture of working from the office and home.

The Role:

As Corporate Account Handler, you will be required to deliver outstanding technical advice and broking support to an existing book of commercial clients. Therefore, good technical competency across a range of commercial products is a must, along with excellent communication and client servicing skills.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing technical support to clients with prompt and accurate responses to queries.
  • Dealing with new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments.
  • Ensuring all client documentation is accurate and issued within deadlines.
  • Being very client focused and ensuring an outstanding service is delivered at all times.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in the commercial insurance broking arena, with strong technical knowledge and competence across a range of products.
  • Be able to demonstrate experience and competency of regularly handling larger corporate risks.
  • A strong commercial awareness and understanding of the insurance market.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in a verbal and written manner.
  • The ability to listen well and fact find with clients where necessary.
  • Good time management, planning and organisational skills.
