Our Central London client is seeking a HR Officer/HR Generalist to join their team as soon as possible on a permanent basis with a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 on offer. This role comes with a great perks package including private healthcare, generous holiday and the opportunity to earn bonus too.

What does the role entail?

Your role as the HR Officer/Generalist will be to support the Head of HR and working in a team of 4 covering a varied and generalist remit. You will support recruitment campaigns ensuring a smooth process for candidates and managers alike, whilst managing agency relationships and performing right to work checks, DBS and Credit checks where required, through to issuing offer letters and managing the onboard and induction. You will oversee or support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, providing advise to managers and staff alike on all policies, procedures, benefits and running and ER cases. As HR Officer you will help with the Learning and Development portal including all input, amendments and administration. This will be a varied role where you will carry out a generalist HR Administrative job supporting the team in all areas including ad hoc HR projects.

What skills will you have?

The ideal candidate for this HR Officer role will be able to perform the above duties with ease and be happy getting in stuck in to all HR duties. It would be advantageous if you have either started or completed CIPD qualifications or other relevant industry accolades. Above all you will be a hard working, flexible and trustworthy team player. You will have excellent IT skills too to help with MI and reporting. Experience working in banking or within Financial Services is desired as is experience and understanding of SMCR and regulatory obligations.
