The role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Compliance 7Surveyor to have an impact across the business, ensuring our properties are maintained to the highest standard. As a Compliance project surveyor, you'll oversee the delivery of a variety of programmes. These may include fire safety, legionella, asbestos, lifts, gas, and electrical.

In the immediacy however, this role will have a particular focus on asbestos management, lifts, auto gates and door entry servicing, plus overseeing our key management programmes.

Collaboration and communication are key to this role. Liaising with numerous teams, both internal and external, you'll manage contracts, chair regular progress meetings, and provide advice on programme quality, design and costs.

What we are looking for

For this role you will ideally have the following skills and experience:

  • HNC or CIOB in Building or Surveying or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of maintenance management and/or construction management.
  • Experience managing contracts within budgetary constraints
  • Knowledge of project management best practises
  • Experience using relevant computer systems in a maintenance environment
  • Preferably you will also have experience managing programmes in one or more of the key areas of this role such as asbestos, lifts, auto gates, door entries and key management
