We are working with a brilliant education provider in Basingstoke, Hampshire that are looking for a passionate individual to enter the school in September 2024 as a Behaviour Support Worker. The position is a full time position beginning in September 2024 in the Basingstoke area, supporting students with additional needs or behaviour challenges throughout the school day.
Responsibilities of a Behaviour Support Worker:
- 1-1 support for students with SEMH needs
- Observing triggers for challenging behaviours
- Identifying self-regulation tactics when facing challenging behaviour
- Setting goals for students to work towards
- Participate in staff meetings to share observations and input on care plans
- Keep students focused and engaged in lessons

As a Behaviour Support Worker, it is your responsibility to motivate your students to recognise their own potential and do their best to make it come true.
