What is Montessori Education?

Traditional Montessori focusing on a holistic approach to learning. What does this look like? Experiential learning, self-guided learning and a proper understanding of community and empathy. This Montessori holds a fundamental belief in traditional practices such as going back to grass-roots level and stripping away modern forms of technology and an over-reliance on devices to engage and teach children. In this nursery you will find a chalkboard in replacement for an interactive whiteboard, a vegetable patch and allotment for gardening as a way to combine play and real-life skills. Messy play and a closeness to nature is at the forefront of teaching as opposed to learning with a structured curriculum. Allowing children to find their own interests and encourage curiosity is crucial.

To apply for this Nursery Manager position, please submit your CV and cover letter detailing your relevant experience and your passion for Montessori education.
