Are you a strong administrator seeking exposure to the world of payroll, or do you already have experience and want to develop your skillset further? If so, we have a newly created opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join us.

You will become part of a friendly team consisting of 3 Specialists, 2 Coordinators, and a Payroll Analyst, all reporting to the Payroll Team Leader at our Macclesfield town centre office.

What you'll be doing...

Key Accountabilities as the Payroll Administrator will be:

  • Responsible for maintaining the MyView mailbox.
  • Answer calls on the MyView service desk
  • Conduct daily report checks.
  • Identify and forward hierarchy changes and post requests to the Payroll Specialist and Payroll Team Leader.
  • Assist with pension administration, including processing leaver forms and handling small administrative tasks for the pensions team.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Issue Nest letters.
  • Support the wider team and collaborate effectively to ensure top-tier service for colleagues and managers.

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday - 8am to 4:30pm - hybrid working

  • Ideally, someone experienced with systems like Outlook and Excel, with a strong eye for detail and data processing skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Adapt communication style to effectively engage the audience, setting high standards for customer service.
  • Confident communicator with problem-solving abilities.
  • Team player with a flexible approach to work and job variety.
