Our client is a

global, PE-backed group of private schools

based in London. This role is part of the Group finance function, supporting the accounting and reporting for the group. You will have the opportunity to grow professionally in a fast-paced environment while playing a key role in the financial success of a dynamic, international organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post monthly journals for group holding companies and consolidation entries.
  • Prepare month-end reconciliations for group holding companies.
  • Compile standalone statutory financial statements for group holding companies.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly schedules and reports under IFRS for both group holding companies and the consolidated group.
  • Collaborate with financial reporting teams across UK and overseas subsidiaries to ensure timely delivery of information for Group reporting.
  • Support the monthly consolidation process, including preparing consolidated balance sheets and cash flow statements.
  • Liaise with external auditors to support the annual audit process.
  • Prepare external surveys and returns (e.g. ONS and VAT returns).
  • Provide support on ad hoc projects and assist the team with lender/investor queries.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is a

newly qualified ACA

from a Top 10 practice, with the technical expertise and ambition to thrive in an international, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be/have;

  • A newly qualified ACA, ideally from a Top 10 accountancy firm.
  • Strong financial and technical acumen, with a solid understanding of IFRS and consolidation processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with finance teams across multiple regions.
  • A proactive approach, with strong multi-tasking abilities and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in audit or financial reporting, ideally with exposure to complex group structures or multinational businesses.

What's on Offer:

  • £55,000 - £60,000 basic salary per annum.
  • Discretionary, performance related bonus.
  • Hybrid working with circa 3-days in the office per week.
