- Being schools all rounder
We're working on behalf of a fantastic special school in Bristol that are looking for an SEMH HLTA/Cover Supervisor to join the team in providing support across the school. The school look after a range of different special needs but are primarily focused around Social Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH).
The school is split into 2 sites (Primary & Secondary) based very close to each other. We've worked closely with this school for a number of years now, it's a challenging environment due to the needs if the students but it is also an incredibly rewarding one!
The role
The role of HLTA is varied but is mainly revolved around providing cover across the school in leading pre-planned lessons. You must be confident in your classroom management and be naturally a very adaptable person due to the amount of different classes/subjects you will be leading.

This role can be applicable to an experienced TA looking for a step up in responsibilities or an unqualified teacher.
