Supply Chain Manager

This is a crucial role within a fast-growing business that will be responsible for the management of logistics and customer order fulfilment. We are looking for someone who has proven experience in their ability to problem-solve, their attention to detail and happy to get stuck in when the busy period rolls around! Reporting directly into the Head of Ops it gives you a real opportunity to have your say!

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management

  • Own & develop the monthly stock reconciliation process in our own warehouse and our third-party coldstore / haulier

  • Line Management

  • Direct line management responsibility for our Delivery Driver in setting workload, routes and order prioritisation.

  • Documentation and Inventory Management

  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels to meet customer demand. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer order records, both electronic and physical.

  • Process Improvements

  • Take the lead on relevant supply chain projects to deliver cost savings or process improvement

  • Customer Communication

  • Handling correspondence with customers, including emails and phone calls, and responding to inquiries in a professional and timely manner with regards to orders.

  • Logistics Co-Ordination

  • Co-ordinate transportation and logistics activities with our third-party hauliers. Communicate with third party hauliers to ensure smooth transit of goods to customers.

  • Problem Solving

  • Identify and address any issues or challenges in the order fulfilment supply chain promptly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.

  • Coldstore/Haulier Relationship Management

  • Work closely with third-party coldstore / haulier to drive service delivery through challenging causes of failure and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Inventory Management
