Bid Manager

The Bid Manager runs our presales activity in delivering compelling submissions to our future clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Contract and governance for Reed Talent Solutions associates, as well as governance for all suppliers providing resources to projects
  • Provide associate support, act as a first point of contact for all contract and time-sheet queries and maintenance of contractor and supplier records to ensure data accuracy
  • Audit and compliance for all accounts to ensure a high level of compliance is met.
  • Liaise with the PMO, resource managers, account owners and other stakeholders to manage key business requirements
  • Maintain good process and quality of documentation to associates and the business
  • Manage relationships with third party suppliers and ensure that outsourced screening service providers consistently meet their service level agreements
  • Evaluate and manage requests for limited company exceptions
  • To manage the process around expenses, insurance and contract queries and ensure escalations are managed where risks occur up to director level
  • Manage expectations of account owners regarding risks to the business as a whole
  • Keep an accurate risk and issues log
  • Liaising with internal and external contact and third-party suppliers to ensure continuity of service, e.g., screening and umbrella companies alongside managed service and resourcing departments
  • Providing professional service/support to internal stakeholders for all new and existing associates
  • Responding to a range of queries in a timely fashion, channelling to the most appropriate area as and when required

Experience:

  • 3 years or plus in bid management/presales
  • Hands on experience of designing and composing sales submissions
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timescales
  • Ability to multi-task, working on several projects at any given time
  • Ability to assimilate sales strategies and offerings to market
  • Experience of leading workshops to establish win themes
  • Proactive with the willingness to meet customer requirements
  • Experience of shaping bids, identifying win themes, SWOT analysis
  • Excellent standard of written English
