Right Now Group are currently partnering with a financially secure industry leader who are looking for a Marketing Communications Executive to join their expanding Marketing team. The role would be well suited to individuals who have a can-do attitude and are used to using their initiative within a fast-paced role. Experience within Engineering/Construction Materials/Transport sectors would be highly desirable.

Job Title: Marketing Communications Executive

Salary: £28k - £32k

Hours: 9:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday - opportunity for hybrid working up to 2 days a week

Location: Slough

Marketing Communications Exec Responsibilities:

  • Raise the company profile via social networks and media, forums, blogs and online directories.
  • Actively publish useful and relevant content including blogs, tweets and other social messaging.
  • Design and produce new campaign materials including videos, demos, online and e-marketing promotions.
  • Create new business email communications with a view to creating leads and interest across all solutions and sectors.
  • Assist with pre-promotion of tradeshows and exhibitions, seminars and other events.
  • Create newsletters, leaflets, flyers and posters, working with external and internal partners to gather content, organise, review and publish.
  • Working with multiple depots and a variety of internal employees at all levels to produce case studies, internal content and product & service info.
  • Supporting Sales and Contract Management, assisting in supporting and developing relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Research to find relevant information and organisations that would be interested in working in partnership
  • General ad hoc Projects and administrative support to the Marketing team.

Desirable Skills:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Creative Writing or Media (BA, BSc or equivalent), CIM or relevant experience within a similar role
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car- due to the location of the offices
  • Good knowledge of all different marketing channels
  • Excellent written skills, proven ability to create interesting content
  • Strong understanding of social media and advertising campaigns
  • Confidence and excellent communication skills
  • Outgoing and active approach, ability to build relationships
  • IT literate with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Flexibility and adaptability
