Job Title: Registered Manager - EBD Children's Service
Location: Northampton
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

Our client is recruiting a Registered Manager to lead a 3-bedded EBD children's service in Northampton. This is a unique opportunity to shape and develop a high-quality service that supports vulnerable children, helping them to achieve positive outcomes and build brighter futures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership and direction for the service, ensuring high standards of care and support for children with EBD.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, including Ofsted standards.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to meet the individual needs of each child.
- Manage, mentor, and support a team of staff, ensuring ongoing professional development and creating a positive, nurturing environment.
- Ensure the service operates within budget, with responsibility for financial management and resource allocation.
- Take a hands-on approach to safeguarding, risk management, and the well-being of the young people in your care.
- Build strong relationships with external agencies, parents, and stakeholders to provide holistic support for the children.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or in a leadership role within children's residential care, ideally within an EBD setting.
- NVQ Level 3 OR 4 needed ( Ideally have Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare or willing to work towards )
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding procedures, and child protection policies.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for improving the lives of children with complex emotional and behavioural needs.
