Credit Specialist - Bracknell - 6 month contract - £300pd (inside IR35)
Are you proficient in French and/or German and ready to take on a vital role in a dynamic and fast-paced finance environment? We're seeking an experienced Order to Cash Credit Specialist to ensure the effective management of our client's credit operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence key financial processes and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers across Europe.
About the Role
As the Order to Cash Credit Specialist, you will be the go-to person on credit management within the designated region. Your main responsibilities will include overseeing the credit policy's consistent application and enhancing the efficiency of order to cash processes. You will work with and oversee the operational Shared Service Centre (SSC), address debtor issues, and ensure timely resolution of credit-related queries. A key aspect of your role will involve conducting risk assessments and periodic credit reviews to balance sales performance with the reduction of bad debt risks. You will also collaborate closely with customers in Switzerland and the Nordics, as well as with internal stakeholders, to ensure seamless cash management and clean accounts receivable ledgers.
About the Candidate
We're looking for a candidate with:
- Substantial credit control experience, within an international sales environment.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Experience managing remote credit processes within a SSC environment.
- Proficiency in French and/or German language is essential.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with strong communication and influencing skills, able to manage workloads effectively and drive positive change within the organization. Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
The Offer
This is an initial 6-month contract, with a day rate of £300-350 per day (inside IR35).
