Audit Manager - Accountancy Practice
Location: Essex
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
My well established Chartered Accountantancy practice client are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join their growing Audit team. You will be reponsible for managing the client portfolio & leading the Audit team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of audit and accountancy assignments
- Work closely & support the partners
- Planning work, core work management and completion
- Attend meetings with clients
- WIP and billing
- Liaise with clients and clients' finance teams
- Job plan staff allocation on assignments
- Liaise and co-operate with other departments
- Manage teams of staff on assignments
- Planning work, core work management and completion
- Mentoring trainees/junior team members
- Business development
Key Skills/Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA Qualified
- Audit experience on a mix of clients and industries
- Experience within a Mid-Tier Practice is essential
- Knowledge of current UK GAAP accounting standards
- Candidates must have a car and a full, clean driving license
