Management Accountant

My Wilmslow based client are looking to bring in a Management Accountant to their team on a permanent basis, reporting into the Finance Director.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the business with the annual audit process.
- Prepare the quarterly VAT return.
- Preparation of month end results including the month end files, journals, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and commentary.
- Assist with the production of the cost centre reporting packs and variance analysis for the business.
- Monthly bank reconciliations - with daily maintenance.
- Reconciliation of credit card spend.
- Preparation of weekly bad debt reports.
- Preparation of monthly commissions.
- Support with insightful reporting and ad-hoc analysis/projects.
Requirements:
- Part Qualified (Working towards ACA/ACCA/AAT)
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Previous experience within a Management / Assistant Management Accountant role.
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages, with a strong focus on Excel.
- Ability to generate and maintain sold working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
