Financial Controller / Liverpool City Centre (hybrid) / Salary £67,000 plus a range of other great benefits.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join our client who are a leading, established organisation in Liverpool.
Reporting directly into an impressive and experienced Head of Finance, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance team for your division. This is an exciting role, and you will be a key player in shaping the business strategy and supporting with on-going transformation projects. You will ensure that our financial controls and processes are robust, driving excellence and efficiency across the organisation.
Your role will be varied and hands on, responsible for:
- Overseeing the day-to-day financial operations, you will manage the finance team, ensuring financial controls and processes are robust, driving excellence and efficiency across the business.
- You will oversee budget preparation and forecasts for your division
- Inspire, motivate and manage a talented finance team.
- Ensure accurate monthly management accounts and advise as part of the SLT for your division.
- Support strategy development
- Lead 5-year business planning with the Group Financial Planning team
- Prepare Financial KPIs and scorecards
- Assist with statutory accounts and liaise with external audit.
- Support development of financial and new system implementations.
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Previous experience managing a finance team
- Driven to develop a deep understanding of the business's commercial operations, and able to drive improvements and add value.
