Working Hours: Part-Time (24 hours per week, 3 days a week)

About Us:
We are a vibrant and inclusive nursery located in the BD5 area of Bradford, dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. Our team is passionate about early childhood development and committed to supporting each child's unique needs and potential. We are now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our team and lead our 2-4 year old room.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the 2-4 year old room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Provide tailored support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring that each child's individual needs are met.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children.
  • Supervise and mentor room staff, promoting continuous professional development and high standards of care.
  • Ensure compliance with all safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Room Leader, ideally within a 2-4 year old setting.
  • Experience in supporting children with SEN.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Passionate about providing high-quality childcare and education.
