Interim Grants Impact and Evaluation Specialist

The Client:

An animal charity, aiming to expand impact and adapt to an evolving world, continuing their mission of caring for animals and supporting their owners.

The Role:

  • Grants Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning: support the I&E lead with design and implementation of the impact measurement and approach for Grants. As well as manage the development of Grants MEL processes with the impact measurement approach
  • Provide technical MEL knowledge advice and guidance to Grants Managers and grantees during the grant development process to ensure strong monitoring and evaluation practices are applied
  • Work closely with the I&E Lead, support the development of organisational impact and evaluation tools, approaches and guidance as required
  • Develop a culture of learning, collaborating with the Insight and Impact team

The Successful Candidate:

  • Strong experience in the monitoring, evaluation and learning of grants within an international context, including impact measurement, systems and approaches
  • Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods in a non-profit or similar operational environment
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to communicate to a range of both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Available to start the role by 19th August 2024
