Finance Manager
£60,000 per annum plus fantastic benefits package

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join a prestigious educational institution, which boasts a rich history and a commitment to excellence in both academic and co-curricular activities. This role is integral to the financial operations of the school, requiring a candidate with a recognised accounting qualification and a strong background in financial management.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead and inspire the Accounts team, ensuring efficient and effective financial processing, including termly billing, debtor management, and purchase supplier management.
- Maintain robust financial control and operations in line with regulatory and audit requirements, and respond to any control weaknesses identified.
- Oversee budget setting and control, providing monthly reporting to budget holders, monitoring expenditure, and ensuring financial risks are communicated to the Finance Director.
- Ensure timely and accurate management reporting for various internal and regulatory purposes, including termly Trustee meetings, VAT returns, and benchmarking data.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven team leadership in a managerial capacity.
- Strong communication skills and excellent teamwork.
- Experience in a similar role within a financial management capacity.
- Strong IT skills, including data scrutiny and analysis.
