Stanton House is currently recruiting for an Interim Management Accountant to join a Bio-Tech Business located in the home counties on a 15-month Fixed Term Contract paying £65,000 - £75,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus benefits. This role offers a hybrid working model with 1-2 working in their offices. This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative Bio-Tech Business and work across the finance functions.
Responsibilities:
- Complete month-end tasks to ensure accurate financial representation and timely forecasts.
- Assist in budget preparation, providing business partnering and review.
- Maintain a robust balance sheet with monthly reconciliations.
- Prepare schedules and participate in the annual audit process.
- Provide ad-hoc financial breakdowns for senior leadership.
- Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and collaborate on treasury management.
- Oversee and reconcile intercompany postings and accounts.
- Continuously review fixed assets and spending against budget.
- Assist with corporation tax and VAT submissions.
- Support project management and handle ad-hoc tasks as needed.
To be suitable for this role you must have the following:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience.
- Up to date with accounting policies and reporting requirements.
- Skilled in forecasting and variance analysis.
- Strong control and process experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and emotional intelligence skills.
- Proficient in Excel and financial modelling.
- Proficient in standard Microsoft packages and SAP is a plus.
