Receptionist/Front of House - Amersham - Permanent - £20,000 to £22,000 per annum!

A fantastic and reputable Law firm are recruiting for a Front of House Receptionist to join their team in Amersham.

The main duties include:

Reception

  • Ensure meeting rooms are ready for the day – ie tidy/heating on/air con on
  • Proactively ensuring the office environment is welcoming
  • Book meeting rooms for staff and maintaining the Reception Diary
  • Check the diary for the day for clients/meetings
  • Greeting clients cordially and making them comfortable, advising relevant staff member of their attendance and offering refreshments
  • Dealing with deliveries, postman, couriers

Admin

  • Open all post – distribute accordingly (possibly scanning to fee earner)
  • Updating the register of Wills, Deeds and other docs retrieved & returned
  • Taking payments from clients on card machine
  • Input payments received (cheques & card payments) on Norwel
  • Regular stock taking for all stationery, photocopying paper etc
  • Stationery; ordering once a month, receive deliveries and store away in cupboards
  • Dealing with the landlord and/or contractors; ie maintenance of building
  • Maintaining records for office keys & car park key fobs
  • Report any health and safety or welfare issues to HR/Partner-in-Charge
  • Receive deliveries and inform staff accordingly
  • Handle other mailshots and similar output as required from time to time
  • Assist the Central Reception Team with incoming calls

Requirements

  • It is essential, that a pleasant and helpful manner either on the telephone or in face to face situations is maintained
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages

The working hours are Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00 with interviews being held right away, so don't delay and apply today!
