ServiceNow Platform Team Leader

As a ServiceNow Platform Team Leader in our Government and Transport sector, you'll lead and mentor a dedicated team of early-career professionals while being responsible for the support of our Managed Service Domain Separated ServiceNow Platform. In this role, you'll use your technical and management expertise to guide the team in delivering exceptional service to multiple customers, acting as a key 2nd/3rd line support when complex issues arise. This role would be mainly working from home with ad hoc travel to our recently refurbished head office in Hemel Hempstead and client sites.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading the team, including mentoring and coaching and preparing the team to move to their next role within the ServiceNow practice.
  • Acting as the technical expert to resolve complex incidents that the 1st line support team is unable to address.
  • Making sure that all tasks completed by the team are fully documented in accordance with the standards in place.
  • Supporting the onboarding of new customers to the managed services platform.

What you'll bring:

  • A background in leading, coaching, and mentoring teams to consistently deliver high-quality work.
  • Extensive experience in supporting and managing ServiceNow platforms.
  • Expertise in meeting tight SLA targets and driving performance under pressure.
  • Willingness to provide out-of-hours support and guidance during critical incidents.
  • ITIL certification with a deep understanding of service management best practices.
  • The ability to engage effectively with varying team members and customers.
  • A passion for continuous learning, growth, and knowledge-sharing.
  • Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM module and/or Certified System Administrator (CSA).

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum
