QA Auditor for food manufacturing
The Quality Assurance Auditors will be assisting the QA Supervisor with weekly and monthly tasks and supporting the business to deliver products that are safe, legal and to the quality our customers expect.

The Role

  • Ensuring food safety, legality, authenticity, and quality are maintained on site.
  • Supporting building a strong food safety and quality culture on site.
  • Conduct factory audits (GMP, Fabrication, GHP, CCP) according to team schedules,
  • Evaluate the audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions.
  • Raise non-conformances to the relevant departments,
  • Make decisions regarding non-conforming products, raw materials, or WIP with the QA supervisor and QA Manager.
  • Carrying out product, swab, water, and air plate sampling
  • Work with other departments to support investigations
  • Ensure appropriate corrective action in the event of. customer complaints, internal NCs.
  • Supporting in-site audits (internal, external, food safety etc.),
  • Ensuring the factory is audit ready every day,
  • Prepare reports
  • Daily product monitoring analysis panels
  • Maintain all relevant QA databases and schedules
  • Ensure tasks are completed to schedule.

Key Skills

  • Hold HACCP level 2
  • Hold Food Safety level 3
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good numerical skills
  • Computer literate
  • Must have GCSE / NVQ / Equivalent - English and Math's
  • High Time Management
  • Great communication skills
  • Positive attitude and Self-motivated
  • Flexible and adaptable to changes in priorities and demands
  • Interest in food and in developing a Quality Assurance career
