Job Advert: Senior Care Practitioner (Night Shift)
Location: Newcastle
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 44 hours per week (8 PM - 8 AM)
Hourly Rate: £12.94 p/h

Howard Finley Care are seeking a dedicated Senior Care Practitioner to join our clients team in a well-established residential home in Newcastle. This full-time, permanent position is perfect for an experienced care professional looking to lead and support a dedicated team of healthcare assistants during night shifts.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medication to residents in line with care plans and current training.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to healthcare assistants on shift, ensuring excellent care is provided at all times.
- Oversee the wellbeing and comfort of residents throughout the night.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, residents, and their families.
- Ensure all care provided meets regulatory standards and company policies.
**Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (essential).
- Current Medication Training certificate (essential).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Experience in a residential care setting, particularly with elderly or vulnerable individuals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
