Company Overview

Our client provides repair management solutions to the Insurance sector by managing the vehicle repair process through their network of certified repairers, across the UK. They have a relaxed dress code in the office, offer a relaxed and fun working environment, working in a small team of 10 people. Our client will also encourage professional development for the right candidate to move on to team-leader positions, which will come with a pay rise!

Role Overview:

We are looking for someone who will not only possess the right personal qualities to join our client's well-established team but also someone whom has experience in a similar role - dealing with insurance claims in the motor industry.

Duties:

  • Receiving first notification calls from drivers following a road traffic accident
  • Ensuring all details are captured accurately
  • Liaising with accident repair centres, vehicle hire companies and all other elements of the supply chain
  • Managing none-fault RTA claims from start to finish and return over vehicles to the client
  • Updating and liaising with clients, work providers, managers and external parties on the progression of claims
  • Ensuring an excellent standard of customer service is maintained

Key Skills & Attributes Required:

  • Ability to coordinate various processes simplistically and efficiently
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively, to establish the best possible outcome
  • Ability to identify trends/reoccurring issues and raise with senior management where appropriate
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear and confident telephone manner and strong written communication skills
  • Ability to build, establish and maintain rapport with clients, work providers and external parties
  • Positive/proactive approach to problem solving, complaints and difficult clients
  • Attention to detail, maintaining accuracy of data-input and management information (MI)
  • Excellent organisation, time, and task management skills
  • Computer literate (Office, Word, Excel etc)
  • Experience with Claims Management systems
